Can we get off now?

I have often wondered how the world is eventually going to end... there are lots of opinions and here are probably even more options on what COULD happen that we can't even fathom -- molecular implosion, spontaneous combustion or maybe we just poof into the stratosphere as a pnchline in a cosmic joke we were never really "in" on.

Now I don't think that is how its going to go down (I am HOPING that it will be from my giant death star planet laser cannon thingamabob.) But I can tell you what some of the signs are and they are clicking into place recently like the tumblers of some ancient Chinese puzzle lock just waiting for the final combination to be revealed to release its existence before destroying it all.

   Now I'm not sure, but this HAS to be the beginning of the end for humanity -- the world ending is never going to happen for billions of years but people aren't long for this world.
